| Excellent hotel with very good grounds and facilities.
Breakfast and dinner superb. Menu for dinner should be changed more often. Rooms small but adequate and comfortable. For british visitors tv restricted to Sky (the better) and BBC World, not worth watching. Their should be 2-3 british entertainment programmes available.
Staff all very good. |

| Excellent hotel in a perfect location.This was our third visit in 2 years.There was ,however, a conference on during our visit and one night their party continued until 1 in the morning. Staff could not be more friendly.We will be back next year! |

| Etwas heruntergekommenes Hotel. z.B. Liegestühle am Pool alt und zerrissen, Lehnen an Bar gebrochen, etc.) Freundlicher Service, gute Musik/Ambiance bei der Aussenbar. Frühstück reichhaltig und gut. Kein Strandzugang, Strandabschnitt beim Hotel steinig und ungünstig zum Baden. Liegestuhl am Meer muss extra bezahlt werden. Teure 10 EUR pro Liege auch wenn man Sie nur kurz braucht, kurz ein Abriss. Essen bei Dani Garcia teuer (140 Euro ohne freiwillige 2 Zusatzgänge) und wurde nicht kommunziert. Ferner hatte man keine Auswahl, man musste das vorgeschlagene Menu nehmen. Dani Garcie war anwesend und kam nur seinen bekannten Gästen die Hände schütteln. Eine doppelte Enttäuschung. Für uns ein Flop, den sog "Gourmet" Tempel können wir überhaupt nicht empfehlen |

| We got to the Don Pepe and tried to check in. The front desk attendants were so unbelievably rude, I tried to "kill em with kindness" and they because indifferent to us and all the others who tried to check in. We asked for nearby shopping places and offered no help. Finally a busboy said to go to two random places. Later we found out the entire city of Puerto Banus had excellent shopping and the hotel even had guides at the front as to this shopping. The reception attendants could have easily provided us with this and solved our questions in 30 seconds. They are deliberately useless and were chatting with each other. At this point they did not provide even common courtesy, let alone stand out service. |

| We really loved our stay in Marbella. We only wished there was more staff coming around to the guests by the pool. Sometimes it seemed we had to wait an hour to get drinks. Also, no beach chairs were available on the beach front right in front of the hotel though there were rentals a little further down. The hotel is in walking distance to the Casco Viejo, but it´s necessary to take a taxi to Puerto Banus. We enjoyed La Pesquera restaurant along the beach. |

| The hotel was beautiful however as it was a 5 star hotel I expected the rooms to be bigger and the bathroom was tiny. As the hotel is 5 star I think it could do with a face lift but the location was perfect and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
The poolside restaurant/bar was very expensive and the food was not nice. I would definitely recommend avoiding it. Breakfast however in the main restaurant was superb. |
